How strong you are!

One day I was sitting on a bench with a friend sharing some thoughts. He took a stick from the floor and said to me: „You have no idea how strong you are! I think you know that you are strong, but you see yourself strong like this stick! But do you know how I see you? I see you as strong as this block of timber. No matter which storm will come, he is still there!“ I was overwhelmed and looked at the block. He was fixed with six screws. 

We all need „screws“ in our life, which provide our personal stability. Specially when it’s getting rough, when things don’t go our way, when life is challenging. 

He was so right and after I finished my thought, I said to him: „Yeah, but you know what I found out? Not only what was missing in my life. I know now, that if this block loose all his screws and will fall into the ocean. It will not sink!“
